Elizabeth Brand lives and works in Alexandria Virginia. Her work as a painter explores primitive painting styles and exotic and historic locations provide the subject matter. Currently she is working in acrylics on wood surfaces. She is also a registered architect with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute , and an MA in Art from Old Dominion University.
